About The Course

The Level 5 Certificate involves the following:

• 2 Hour Induction
• At Least 7 Hours Tutorial Support
• A Choice of Units taken from groups 1 & 2 of the Course Q-Card with a maximum of 6 credits from Group 2

The Level 5 Diploma involves the following:

• 2 Hour Induction
• At Least 7 Hours Tutorial Support
• A Choice of Units taken from groups 1 & 2 of the Course Q-Card with a maximum of 18 credits from Group 2

The Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management is made up of a broad range of units covering skills in six core areas – working with people, managing yourself and personal skills, providing direction, facilitating innovation and change, achieving results and using resources. The modules taught are as follows:

• Certificate
• - Becoming an Effective Leader
• - Motivating People in the Workplace
• - Leading Innovation and Change
• - Developing Mental Toughness - Including completion of the MTQ48 Mental Toughness Questionnaire
• Diploma (same modules as certificate plus the following):
• - Managing Own CPD
• - Assessing Your Own Leadership Competence
• - Coaching and Mentoring

This accredited programme is aimed at existing or aspiring middle managers and is designed to develop abilities to lead, motivate and inspire and to drive better results.
